A DUI sobriety checkpoint in Fort Myers bagged 24 arrests.
7 arrests were drunken driving charges; 17 were for driving without a license; police wrote 32 traffic citations. Police received funding from the Florida Department of Transportation. The purchased DUI checkpoint equipment and paid officers overtime.
