DUI Halloween Tampa, Hillsborough County Florida

title="DUI
Tampa Bay DUI law enforcement predicts many DUI arrests, perhaps a record this holiday season starting with Halloween. Halloween falls Saturday , a first since 1998. Bars are open an extra hour since daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday. People will get an extra hour until closing time. Those 2 factors equal increased opportunities for Driving Under the Influence charges. Other jurisdictions in Hillsborough, Polk, Pinellas, and Pasco counties can expect the same.

Our office will be working throughout the weekend to help.

New Port Richey Florida - DUI Checkpoint

Pasco DUI Checkpoint Attorney Pasco DUI Defense Attorney notes that in New Port Richey, Florida you may consider a designated driver. New Port Richey Police Department (NPRPD) Pasco County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) officers and deputies will be operating a DUI checkpoint. We havent seen the checkpoint plan, but one media outlet has reported that the stops will be random. Law enforcement must lay out a specific plan as previously noted on this site. These cases generate significant revenues for the county and law enforcement.

One local resident states that the speed limit on some local streets near the checkpoint are different, depending on which direction you travel. For example, northbound on Congress Street the speed limit is is 40 miles per hour - southbound its 35 mph.

Pasco County DUI Checkpoint Attorney / Lawyer W.F. ''Casey'' Ebsary, Jr. is available to check the facts, when DUI Checkpoints are a problem. Stop Worrying and Call Toll Free 1-877-793-9290.

Florida DUI Mobile Jails

Pasco County DUI Defense AttorneyPasco DUI Attorney noted recent reports of mobile DUI holding cells inside a new mobile "drunk tank" , according to the St Pete Times. A 46-foot trailer will be used by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at DUI checkpoints. The mobile unit contains an Intoxilyzer 8000 machine. The trailer is a refurbished crime prevention trailer. The trailer was refurbished using a $16,000 state grant obtained by a new grass roots organization called the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention and a $14,000 federal grant obtained by the Sheriff's Office.

There are two holding cells inside the trailer, the Breathalyzer, several computers , and a DVD player so deputies can watch videos of arrests.
